Huge problem with my door guards!

Hey people,

I could really use some help and advice on how to remove the door guard adhesive from my starlet.

I have taken a hairdryer to the door guards and they came off fine but I just cant seem to shift the damn adhesive now.

I have tried re-heating the adhesive which makes no real difference and used white spirit but neither of these are working!!!

Please help me on this one!

hey i did this the other day

the way i did it was sprayed on "minute clean" made by turtle wax (pic below) and left for about 5 mins then and used the hairdryer and rolled the adhesive off with my thumb,

gave me alot of blisters though

I think I will give that a go.

My hands are full of blisters too mate but its worth it, it is already looking loads better.
