whitetrash
My bay gets pretty hot which im sure does nothing for my performance due to heat soak etc so how many of you go to the point of wrapping manifolds etc? My TD04 Mani must kick out buckets of heat so im considering wrapping it and also wrapping my FMIC pipes to guard them from heat. While in the world of MR2's cooling was a big issue due to the engine location and lots of people installed electric fans to move heat out of the engine bay with very good success and im considering playing about with this idea especially for when in day time traffic.Any ideas? conz1
hello pal, heat wrap i find is a good choice, putting reflective heat wrap on the manifold and relocate the air filter if you have not already so it cold air getting into it not hot i havnt personly done it to mine yet but i looked in to it and i seen a lot of people doing it so i would say its good idea ;)
