getting rid of the aircon

I was wanting to get rid of my aircon as i don't use it, is this easy to do?

also the buttons which change the direction of the air flow have stopped working and it is only blowing hot air, has anyone else come across this problem? cheers jon.

Taking it out is fairly easy i believe,just stay well away from the gas that comes out because that stuff'll kill you very quickly if you inhale it!! Not kidding! It's illegal to vent the gas to the air but thats only if you get caught.

What about the air con belt? i will remember not to inhale lol

You throw it in the bin!

Get the system emptied (leagally of course)

Unbolt and remove all piping and aircon components

Replace original belt with a non-aircon starlet one

Refit pressure sensor to loom at PSF connector

The belt number i think is 913e.
