Remove rear window in 5dr?

Some c-unit has keyed my left rear passengers window. I went to a glass repairer and he said it was too deep to repair.

I have bought a new one from a wreckers and cant figure out how to get the old window out (without smashing it) and install the new one.

Anyone done this before? The windows are manual if that helps.

front seat all the way forward (gives you extra space) handle off (has like a U clip bit of a bitch, also dont lose it),undo the door card,lift the door card up to remove, pull the plastic to one side

put the handle back on and locate the window so you can see + remove the bolts (toyotas are nice like this and its really really easy to undo the windows)

lift the window out, check/clean the seals

drop the new window in from the top align the holes + bolt in, put the plastic back as best you can (the plastic is also a good indicator to show if the window/door has been messed around with previously......just abit of history about your car)

operate the window to see if everything is ok, put everything back on

stand back, smoke a pipe and stroke a lion

P.s before starting out make sure your tools/hands are really clean otherwise youll have a right job of cleaning up the fabric

I dont smoke and haven't got a clue where to find a lion, will a stuffed animal count?

Well it worked but i forgot to take any pics.

Thanks for your help Asad_EP5DR your guide was very helpful.

For anyone who does this in the future, plan for it to take about 1.5 - 2hrs as there are some really complicated parts.

The hardest part is when you have to get the top part of the trim back on. You have to put the part closest the hinges on first then force the rest into place.

Nah, Im currently putting my rear swaybar back on and have just hit myself in the lip with a spanner .

Next mod is a glanza front conversion which i should be getting either just before xmas or start of january.
