just wanted to start a thread on this new pass 125 for body shops and see what everyone verdict on it.

its so bad for the painters... but the panel beaters watch out! TORQUING WING BOLT???? thats crazy and thats not the worst! to put a quarter on something! bond-weld-bond-weld-bond-weld the whole quarter!!! its just crazy!!!

its mad for bodyshops becuase my boss gets 70% of his work through a insurance company called lex and AI. the said to him you have intil july to get pass 125 or your getting the bullet. so bassicaly his buying in this new shit to get pass 125 like new welder (cebora) new clock in/clock off machine on jobs. and more health and safety done...

insurance companys are taking the piss, they just keep demanding things and if the company dont do it the just pull the plug and dont give them anywork.

i work for a small bodyshop and its hard for them to just buy all this new equipment, we had to buy new mig and spot welders a few years ago, the insurane company pritty much made us buy them because manufactures have started using bore on steel, ive never repaired anything yet that uses bore on steel i think it was a waste of money.

to be honest ive not heard too much about pass 125, but what ive heard it sounds like a load of shit, i mean torquing wing bolts lol WTF! the insurance company already screw u for the amount of time u get to do jobs, now u have to waste more time going around torquing wing bolts up

It's always the same, in the oil and gas industry all the vendor companies need loads of certs which the client companies don't even have themelves.

yeah i work in a small bodyshop too but he has to get this pass125 to keep what hes got! weve never used bore on steel either but its just something youve got to have????!!!! its just fucking mad!
