External Wastegate Springs

if i have a external wastegate with a 1bar spring will my turbo only run at 1bar of boost or more? or could i turn the boost down with an electric boost controller?

You can only run above spring pressure mate so no if you want lower boost you need a lower rate spring

I brought a new tial wastegate which was on offer at £155 but only came with a 1 bar spring.

so if i buy a 0.7bar spring and fit that then i should be able to turn the boost up a little to 0.8 on my boost controller?

also how easy or hard is it to change the spring? is it a case of undering some screws and changing?

Yea basically gotta undo the screws take the top off and replace but its a nightmare compressing the spring to get tohe top back on so I am told.

Yea if you got a .7bar spring then you can run above .7 with a bleedvalve/boost controller etc
