Taggy Posted February 15, 2011 Share Posted February 15, 2011 Realised i need to rotate both ends of this turbo to get it to work in my starlet, i dont have a tool to get the snap ring off and it looks like a bit of a monster!Can someone tell me what tool is best to get it off with and where to pick one up, i am guessing i need one with some good leverage! string Posted February 15, 2011 Share Posted February 15, 2011 i used a circlip tool from halfords. was 7.99. external 90 degree circlip plier. had to bend the prongs a little to span the gap. plus lots of wd. it came out easy enough and went back in even easier with the tool. alot of peeps find it harder to get it in.
