installed it today. didn't wire in the 2 fcd wires as i'm running emb. all seemed ok. switched off and turbo timer function didn't keep engine running but kept lights on the dash illuminated till it had counted down. swapped the ignition wires over and same again. any ideas?

i have 4 wires to wire in.

ground self explanitory

12v constant which is wired to constant live

ignition 1 which i spliced into the acc wire.

ignition 2 which i spliced into the on wire.

any ideas?

have you set a time on the actuall gizzmo dude i had this problem i wired in my turbo timer and i was like WTF it keeps turning off then i realised it was set to stay on for 0:00 lol

yeh thats what i'm saying.

timer is set for 30 secs cool off. just to try it out. i switch off. engine switches off. dash lights stay on. like when you first put key in and turn but not switch on. the oil light etc etc. they stay on for the 30 secs. i watch the timer countdown. when it goes to 0 everything goes off.

lol well i split the ignition connector and tested which wire turned on n off when the key was in the on position. wired up to that. turned out to be a different wire. so theres 2 that come live but i never tested them all.

dont suppose you to any pic's or could explain as i have a gold and it freeks me out looking at it never mind wiring it in thanks

what u want expalinin dude? red goes to constant live, yellow to ancillary. blue to 12v which switches on n off with key in on position.
