welding in my braces

basicly guys im going to get my cusco bolt in cage welded in and im thinking while im at it should i make a solid cpillar brace and weld that in also,

thinking of making some other customs braces like some of the stuff you can get for the honads,

do you guys think it would be ok to do and would it stiffen the car up more than bolting it in ?

think the only prob u mite have is the c pillar being welded in is the fear the metal your welding brace to could start to crack through time as there wont be tht little bit of flex u would get with bolting one it.

if i welded the cage in and seam welded it i could prob run without a c pillar bar as i doudt it would stiffen it up anymore

welding the cage in will stiffin it up enough i wouldnt bother seam weldin it unless it was an empty shell and going to be gettin resprayed

if its seam welded dont bother with the c pillar. Could be worth welding on the front and rear strut braces though.

that wont be happening haha its a cusco carbon rear strut brace with titanium ends and a trd front strut brace

if you are going that far, then just seam weld it and weld in the cage. a c pillar brace will make next to no different then. it doesnt make any noticeable difference anyway tbh
