Lee_EP82
Right im a self employed mobile mechanic/ Mechanic for a garage part time, and got to the stage now where im missing my air tools when im on the van. So looking to buy an air compressor, does anyone know much about them for using air tools mainly Air guns to keep maximum pressure for a decent length of time. I know what pressure is needed and cfm and would need to be 240V. The thing i need to know is what would be a suitable litre tank for using most air tools? Considering it has to fit in a Citroen Dispatch van. Cheers.
neilsmith
Alright mate, I've got a 75ltr 1.5hp sip air compressor that i use around the house for working on my car i also used it for spraying the car aswell and it works the buz gun continuously without any problems, also worked fine on the spray gun continuously without running out of puff, would probably be okay for what your looking for or just to be on the safe side a 100ltr tank 2hp motor would be more than enough. james@cjperformance
go for a clarke 2hp 150ltr tank, will be all tyhe pressure you would need, they have a cfm of 14 and are still on a 13amp plug. grab one second hand as they will run for ever and just need general maintenance
