Dump valves Hks ssqv on eBay.....................

Hi guys, will someone please explain to me what's the deal with Hks ssqv dump valves as some genuine ones on eBay are like 200 quid the. You get these other "limited edition black" ones at like 80 these say they are genuine? I am a bit confused with these,,,,anyone own one of these or got further info on them? If they are copy's the surely it would be illegal?

They're fake, I wouldn't even trust the ones at £200 unless it's a well know seller/tuning company etc.

Ahhhhhhhhh nice one mate, bit mad that is as I would of thought Hks would go crazy and get eBay to take them off if people were selling fakes

get 1 from sumopower, they trade on ebay and will be %100 the real deal, i have run both real and fake and didnt really find any diffrences apart from the price

yea, apparently the fake ones sound very similar. Makes you wonder if it worth the money buying a genuine. Sometimes I think just pay for the brand :/

If you want the real thing as said above go to a reputable tuning company. The copies are so good now that even if you have a real and fake side by side its hard to spot the difference. Some people say you can tell by the amount of folds they put in the instructions, but even the instructions look legit. Loads of people have used the fake bovs and have been happy, i would just stay away from things like fake FPR's and things like that.
