Zeldoz
So, come the end of the month i'll be purchasing a 4E-FTE engine as the major item I need to check of my 'To buy list'. The parts will be bought over several months and converted in may.So there's going to be a lot of parts missing from this list, so I need people to fill me in! The spec is a COMPLETELY standard 4E-FTE. Just to make sure the engines healthy ect.. So what I new from my knowledge;-4E-FTE-Glanza ECU-Glanza Wiring Loom-Glanza Dashboard (This is for plug & play loom swap, is this not 100% possible on a N/A dash?)-Glanza DialsAs far as I know I can use my N/A gearbox? And the N/A driveshafts? - correct me if I'm wrong! The rear axel will be swapped once the engine is settled in, in the following month. Obviously for the rear pads not drums! So, what have I missed! miib14
yes n/a box and shafts can be used, n/a box has shorter ratios so better acceleration
Idrees
Complete parts you need from Glanza (apart from engine)Engine loom (I've always included the Glanza fusebox and headlight loom but not sure if they are crucial)Dashboard loomECUDialsIndicator/wiper stalksRear interior loom (in some cases)
Zeldoz
As appose to the dashboard is that essential?I ideally want the simplest of conversions! The wiper stalk, are they easily interchangeable? What if I wasn't to change them?Lewis
