Removing gudgeon pins from rod?

any one done this ? and how did they do it? can it be done at home or is it a out side jobby?

They require pressing out, most machine shops/engineering firms can do this.

Better off heating up the entire piston. The gudgeon pins or little ends are sweated in. In other words when the pins are inserted or assembled the pistons are hot.

yes the pins are a interference fit, i got quoted £40 for removal and replacing ? that sound okay
