Coolant

Hi all

Ive just flushed out my radiator and put in new coolant

I put blue coolant in and now somebody told me i had to put red one in?

Will blue one be okay?

nope its foul nasty stuff wont do it any good at all go to toyota and get there own brand red coolant its top stuff it will be alot better for your car in the long run

Okay mate cheers il order some now but blue will be okay for time being ?

And shall i get one litre pre mixed red coplant?

itll be ok for the time being, blue is just not as good as red.

it will be ok for now but dont leave it in there long and make sure that yo do a full flush before adding the pre mixed toyota red never mix two diff coolants together

The difference between the two colours is that Orange / Red antifreeze contains a different type of corrosion inhibitor that has a much longer life than silicates, phosphates and borates. Orange / Red antifreeze contains organic acids that protect engine parts from corrosion.
