I've found the problem as you can see, it happened 6months ago and i just cleaned it up ,but its started happening again and i want to fix it properly this time as

it can be pretty dangerous...

Its the connector just below the steering column if your wondering

Whats the best thing i can do ? get a new connector or is there another way of fixing it?

Cheers!!

Either that or cut the 2 wires that would meet through that terminal and connect them directly. I doubt getting a new connector would be worth the hassle as your need to wire up every wire or tract the loom and detatch it from everywhere and id imagine it goes directly into the main loom so id just join them directly.

Yeah i really dont want to get a new connector, but if its plugged in then surely its going to be difficault to wire up the 2 terminals as this connector will get in the way :s

Cut the 2 wires from the back of the connectors and join them under the connector or add in some wire if necessary.

Thats what i would do, i would use insulated terminals rather than soldering though as it gives you the option to separate the connector again at a later date if you needed too.
