Headlight bulbs

After a set of decent bulbs, was looking into hids but they dont seem to be legal? whats everyone using as i really need something brighter rhan standard.

Hid's HB3 fitment..... All i do is keep standard bulbs in my glovebox. Went through last MOT fine.

You got a quad if so there's a little more leniency as its projected to a point whereas doughnuts without projectors blind everyone :-)
