boosting24/7
I've bought a forged engine off a friend of mine on here, I just wnt to make shore the engine is timed up, in the right marks before I start it, as it hasnt been started since it was built, I've turn it over on the crank with a spanner, so the little makers are on the 0 on the cambelt cover at the bottom but the dots on the back of the cams dont line up togehter???? AdamB
Have you just rotated it the once? Rotate the crank twice and see where it lines up then.Failing that it depends how the engine was timed up when built, as I would always use a DTI gauge to dial the cams in rather than use the markers, its much more accurate.
