price of having engine balanced?

is it aa general thing to get rods balanced within spec of each other too?

Rods should be sold as matched pairs mate, but that said depends on the manufacturer and their quality control.

Getting the rotating assembly balanced I think is anywhere from around £250-£400.

I had my whole bottom end done rods pistons crank clutch flywheel all together cost me 150 quid mate and it was bang on got a spec sheet after he'd done it too
