tanveer21 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 went to start my starlet today and it sounded as if it was misfiring and idling really rough and cut out as soon as i take my foot off the accelarater. really put a downer on my day as the car was only bought yesterday but i know its something small just cant get my head around what it could be...was driving fine this morning then it rained and parked up went to start it and this! any help very much apreciated lads... Lawless Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I'm suffering with this fitting a fimic I've found it was the water getting to my leads and plugs had it several times coming out after and rained all day Resorted to putting a bin liner in the scoop whilst its parked up Quote
tanveer21 Posted September 17, 2013 Author Posted September 17, 2013 i am hoping this is the problem, tomorrow im going to take leads and plugs out make sure everything around there is dry. i have heard condensation/water can get into the dizzy cap too so i will check that. thanks alot for replying to my post bud much apreciated...
