renfrewshiremod_craig Posted November 10, 2013 Share Posted November 10, 2013 I have recently just fitted a vf24 rollerbearing turbo with external wastgate how should the boost hoses be set up? I have 2 ports on the external wastgate and obv one on the compressor housing. I have a gizzmo boost ebc fitter aswell so was wondering the best way to plumb the boost hoses in. I dont no if the bottom port on the wastgate has to pipes to the compressor housing and bleed to the boost controller and the top port on the wastegate run straight to the second port on the boost controller? Well on the tial external wastgate there is 2 ports one on the bottom and one on the top. And there is one port on ther compressor housing. What boost ports get connected where? Looks like both ports goin to the compressor housingLooks like both ports goin to the compressor housing Vac pipe off turbo splits into 2 vac pipes 1 goes to bottom wastegate port and the other goes to boost controller solenoid then to top port on wastegate.
