jon5698 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Right my HKS uprated actuator arrived from japan today, just a few questions. I have read a few posts in the technical section and have downloaded the how 2 guide to install it, people have said you can set it to 0.8 bar safely without hitting fuel cut, i have a jam fcc can i safely raise it higher or should i wait till after christmas when i will be getting my RRFPR and high flow fuel pump? cheers jon Quote
Nick_p Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Yeah, you should really wait till you can get the fueling sorted if your gonna raise the boost higher than fuel cut. Quote
Glanza_Ragger Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Dont go above fuel cut with out fuelling mods. You wont need to go above fuelcut level to feel the difference, you will notice as soon as you've fitted it that it will hold boost alot steadier without dropping off higher rpm. Quote
jon5698 Posted November 29, 2007 Author Posted November 29, 2007 Mine is boosting up to 0.7 at the minute, will i feel much difference when i turn it up to 0.8? Quote
jon5698 Posted November 30, 2007 Author Posted November 30, 2007 Well i am going to fit my actuator tomorrow, and hopefully remove the restriction from number 3 runner on my manifold. And may possibly be getting a kakimoto racing exhaust as well. Fingers crossed Quote
Marc Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Let me know what the difference between 0.65 bar and 0.8 bar is like matey! Quote
jon5698 Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 Well according to my dyno session today about 3 bhp and 30 lbs/ft lol Quote
jon5698 Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 30lbs/ft?? Yeah it went for 101 lbs/ft to 134.4 lbs/ft can feel a big difference will be going back after xmas once i get a few more things. Full ss exhaust sard rrfpr, uprated fuel pump and fmic. Be interesting to see what it pushes out once they are done Quote
