mr_K Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 I forged my engine and ive done 660 miles since and two oil changes but I'm not fully 100% if i should change my oil now and fit on my wepr kit or wait till ive done 1000miles and then.anybody on here that can give me advice on what to do and when to. jimmymac101 Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 It never hurts to give oil changes epically after a rebuild or forging, extra care never hurt anybody lol as for the wepr kit..... Is the car all mapped up and running sweet? If it is I'd personally wait til you can afford to have it mapped again with the new kit fitted for peice of mind ( that's just my personal opinion though ) James Quote Link to post Share on other sites

AdamB Posted July 15, 2014 Share Posted July 15, 2014 (edited) Depends how you've run it in, I wouldn't be changing from mineral oil till around the 1500 mile mark.I did write a little piece on running in engines and oil change schedules, I'll see if I can find it.
