Revving it's self whilst driving

Hey guys, was out a drive there and when I downshifted I noticed the revs didn't go down below 2krpm when I dipped the clutch. I thought the pedal may have been jammed but I pulled it back with my foot and it was still doing it, so I dipped the clutch again and revved and it went straight down to about 800. Done it a few times today. Any ideas?

Air leak throttle jamming?

Thanks for the reply bud, it was the throttle body staying open a little bit, replaced that and the inlet and it's fine now. Cheers
