Kirkyyb36
Running ct9 setup with zisco mani and fmic with an hks adjustable actuator. Bought a defi boost gauge and running 0.4 of a bar, what should the boost be? Im sure i read that hi boost on the standard setup is 0.65 but what should mine be? Cheers
StuDoc 72
Boost will be whatever the actuator is set for. Shorten the arm on the actuator by removing the split pin taking the rod off the wastegate penny arm crack the nut on the actuator rod and shorten the length of the actuator rod pull it back onto the wastegate arm. Rinse and repeat till you get the right pressure you wanna run. Shorten the arm = More boost. Lengthen the arm = Less boost. Edited July 17, 2015 by StuDoc
Kirkyyb36
Thanks for the advice mate, whats the recommended boost pressure though? I want a decent bit of power.. But with fuel cut etc still on my car..
StuDoc 72
0.75 is fuel cut I'm sure....its been a while so just get it about 0.7 as youll make more pressure in the winter so if its just before fuel cut in the summer it defo will hit it in the winter and its an absolute pain in the hole. So just retard the pressure a bit more since its summer go for about 0.65-0.7. Edited July 17, 2015 by StuDoc
