  1. I COULD have.. but it all depends. I'm selling my starlet SR, but someone on this forum is only interested into the engine, gearbox, ecu & loom. Who knows, he could buy it off me as a whole and you could get the wheels from him :p

Sorry to be so vague, but i'm waiting for a reply so I can't confirm the status.

The wheels have been recently refurbed aswell. I have 5 Speedlines.

I'll let you know when I know more.

  2. I don't think I have them anymore as they weren't used for so many years.. I can have a look for you in the garage, but don't have your hopes up :p

25k? niice, I'm sure alot of people are dying to ask you, but where did you get that from?? Good find! My engine cost me like £1500 from fensport..

  3. Yer mate, i'm looking forward to seeing you guys again.

If you do open it tho, it will take a little time for the engine to adjust itself to the change in air, I kept my sensor near the throttle as the plenum chamber didn't fit as should be the same as yours. But you're running trumpets aren't you? that's open..

Cold at times? hmm, I can't say I've had that issue, but mine used a bit of oil.. my bro's AE111 Levin with the same engine did the exact same so I assumed it was the norm for a high revving engine.

When I got the engine from Fensport It came with the Ae111 engine mounts, but my mechanic ended up making his own mounts as it was easier and less fiddly seeming as he had to cut and reinforce the chassis anyway.

Yours seems to be sitting nicely, are you happy with the changes?

  4. Sorry mate, mine's CAT D as you know now. :p But I will still be going in Shelly's Glanza. See what you youngen's have been up to lol. I love the open trumpets, it has a huge effect on the flow and power changing from filtered to open.

Best thing is, if you drive it normally you can get almost the same amount of mpg as the 4EFE, but then you have the option to open it up. Shame it goes through more oil tho.. the 4EFE didn't seem like it needed any oil EVER. :p

    Sorry to hijack your thread,

How are you finding yours? Is the clearance ok, with the downpipe and all?

  5. Ahh, perfect, I have a EP91 SR for sale with a 4AGE blacktop 20v already installed. I'm about to put it up for sale. It currently is CAT D and off road as I was planning to sell the car as parts OR as a whole.

The SR's legacy was all documented on the old site, but sadly seems to have vanished with the move over..

The car is still drivable as the mechanics drove it from my house to the garage and back again after the inspection. The only damage is the body panel of the left rear quarter. only 77600 miles.

Let me know if you're interested, whilst I still try to figure out how to make a new sale topic..

  6. Wow that is one nice nanglewagon. I've missed sooo much, but once this turbo is in, its going to move the part as it does look the part. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiceeeeee!

O, and i've never been a fan of 4 spokes, but i think its pulls it off nicely, dunno if its to do with the 5 spokes at the back, but i love it! Still got my vote for one of my favs phil! Keep it up!

  7. Thanks guys, nice to have all your support. :p

Well done was a good write up and shell i spotted those mistakes aswell,

tony they said in the mag that when your mechanic was wiring the engine in that he splined the 4efe with the 4age is that not wrong ? as i'm sure i read in your build thread that it was only the 4age loom that was used ?

Regardless pics look very good, i want to see a pic of your bro's levin :D

    congrats t

    colin.

I think Jayce (the mechanic) compared the wiring looms together, whatever was extra

he took off and added to the wiring loom he was using, which one he kept overall im not too sure, because i remember him saying he wanted to make the engine fit the car, not the other way round, thats why he went with keeping the starlet driveshafts.

Sorry im not the best with explanations and stuff, but basically i went to Jayce and said to him, 'Here's the engine, here's the car', and this is what i got back B) He did ask me to look into a few things, but it was all his doing really.

As for pics of my bros levin, i shall let him know you like it and i'll try and get some pics off him :p I'm sure he'll be overwelmed with joy at the attention

  8. Hey guys, Thanks for your comments, :D

Yer, it was a good day. Both Jamie (the photographer) and Joe (Banzai Editor) were a good laugh aswell. It was an enjoyable experience and the photos turned out amazing!

Everytime i look at that photo that mish uploaded, i remember when i think Joe commented on the window looking like it was broken :D

Nice work Joe, i also think you managed to get my whole family to buy a copy each lol. Roll in the money :p . But yer, it was a pleasure to work with you and i'm sure i'll see you around at some car shows or somthing, maybe even a big feature on UKSC :D^_^

  9. does my f*cking head in lol

What?? Some people just put the filters in FOR that sound :) But i suppose, each to thier own. I must admit tho, i am one of those who like it :)

But i've heard that panel filters are actually better, because the air in the box is cooler than the air in the engine bay.. but i suppose it depends on where your air intake is setup.

  10. Maybe then they can see the scene and we can bully them about another thrash day !! :D:D

...Have i missed somthing? lol What do you mean by that? :D Forgive my ingnorance B)

Thanks mate, i was jus wondering whether it was alright for non-starlet people to register and all that..

  11. Hi guys,

Basically, i've been contacted by Banzai, and they want to feature my car somtime..

I wanted to link them to the extreme ep riders' section so they can have a quick read through, but i don't think unregistered people can see the page..

    What can i do?

Is there a way they can see it without signing in? Or should they just register?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks guys,

    Tony
