If you go on my build thread I just uploaded who ever put the manifold on must of over tightened it as its got more thread showing than the other 3 bolts

Okey so it's just the manifold that's my problem isir?

The head cracked it is under that steel weld stuff i put it on so i can drive it to the garage when i get my head at the end of the month i just wondering how it really happened so i can prevent it from happening again it cracked right around were the bolt goes in.

The car started its life out as a sr, But I bought it as it is basically apart from the wheels so I thought I would start a thread before I start changing things. The car has got: Front mount intercooler De-Cat Fcd Hybrid ct9 running 0.9 Blitz dump valve Civic rar Oil catcher Engine damper Hks filter Not sure on exhaust but full system Recaro seats Carpet dash Deep dish steering wheel Team dynamics Lowered on springs Rolling road print out 189bhp

One off them rubbish ones it was on the car it's cracked in loads of places to I'm going to change it I'm about to put a build thread up now so

my head cracked last week I am just asking people what could of caused it it cracked around the exhaust port bolt, I am thinking could it be from were my downpipe hasn't got a bracket as I seen quite alot does have brackets and all the stress could have just been on the manifold bolts of the weight of the turbo etc ? any suggestions please as I don't want to just put a another head on it and it crack again Thanks Rhys
