Reason For Sale: I have lost interest and also I don't have time to fix her.

Ownership: Just under 2 years

Condition: Used, Fair Condition, not mint, drivable but HAS problems.

Theres a stack of receipts for the car but no import documents.

Unsure on how many km's it had done before it was changed to mph, so the reading is 207,084.

Since owning the car i have plunged money on it like mad, trying to rectify most problems. In my ownership the car has not done more than 5000miles, as it has been my weekend/project car.

She's had the cylinder head replaced due to smoke after been driven and coasted. ( IE, Stopped at a set traffic lights, it would most likely smoke). It made me believe stem seals had it. The cylinder head was brought from a member on ukso. He had the head skimmed, valves cleaned, valves re-seated, new stem seals and chemically cleaned.

In that process, head gasket, cambelt kit, water pump, inlet gasket, oil filter, oil, cam seal, exhaust gasket and rocker cover seal were changed. The injectors, fuel rail, inlet mani, cams, shims, cam pulley were cleaned in unleaded fuel. Rocker cover has also been sanded down and sprayed with high temperature paint.

Bad bits:

*She still smokes a white oily smell on the tick over. It only happens after the car has been driven on boost, no smoke during boost, smokes while shes coasted. Also this smoke doesnt always happen. New Head fitted and still smokes. The turbo has no/minimal play in the shaft. Im going to assume the worse and say piston ring failure. This is only a guess as i have not done compression tests or leak tests.

*The buckets/shimms will need adjusting as its tapping lowder than average. Maybe could be the link below.

*It has a small oil leak but i cannot find where its leaking from.

*Gearbox does not like quick gear changes as it grinds now and then.

*Front drivers wheel bearing needs changing as makes a little bit of noise and stated in mot paper

*Rear drivers wheel arch has started to show a tiny bit of rust

*Steering column had some play. Moved up and down. Ive tighten it at lowest point the steering could go. It can be re-adjusted, I just dont know how to fix it properly.

*Front Bumper has seen better days. Could do with a refurb. (Picture)

*Drivers door has been keyed. (Picture)

*Front Passenger wheel arch plastic needs fitting in

*Could be other little things i just cannot rebember but major problems are listed above.

My steering is now all over the shop. Luckily I have it right down, but def. Annoying!

The small pedal has no strengh to hold in place.

Does anyone know if its s matter of a loose bolt, an easy fix

Or isit completely knackered and would need replacing?
