Welcome! How hard was it to get it legal in the US? They're quite tough on imports aren't they? Or does it vary state by state?

GT looks mega clean, enjoy her! It'd be interesting to see how well it's received by the 'import/JDM' community over there.

The car is registered and insured in NY state. If you don't mind I'd rather not get into the details online, but it is not an easy process. Since very few JDM RHD cars make it stateside, people aren't really familiar with the Starlet. Skylines, 240sx`s and various Hondas prove more popular. The EP82 was never sold here so people don't know what the car is, which IMO makes the car all the more enjoyable.

Hello all,

Wanted to introduce myself to the forum - acquired my Starlet a few months ago but only having the time recently to begin sorting through and begin the modding process. Parts are hard to come by here in the States - from what I understand there may be only 3 or 4 of these here. I needed to order brake pads and oil filters from ID-Works! Been chatting with a member about sourcing some rear belt buckles (thanks again in advance).

Car came with Tein S-Techs and 15" Volk TE37s. Sourced a Fujitsubo axle back exhaust (sitting in the boot) but other than that it's pretty stock.

Hello everybody - just acquired my EP82 here in the United States. Tried to mount a child seat in the back and couldn't find the seat belt buckles! Pulled the cushion and neither the buckles or chassis bolts were there, so I'm looking for both. Can't transport my daughter in the Starlet til I do. I'm assume they are only available in grey?

Also looking for floormats if you happen to have them and would be willing to ship to the USA Post Code 11366.
