as i posted before i was buying a starlet and i was let down. ive spent a few days looking at some and i have to go see one tomorrow and two on saturday. does anyone have tips when looking at these cars? do they have head gasket problems or anything like that? i want one thats reliable :/ im spending around £1300 - £1500. is that the average price range? i was offered one with a bucket seat that was wrecked, rusted bonnet and smashed bumpers for £500 lol. i thought, no thank you !

thank you all i cant wait they look good cars and ive heard they're good on fuel and cheap on insurance. i had a civic but its being taken apart. i was looking at the newer model of the civic's but not keen. cant wait to get posting

buying my starlet gt turbo tomorrow. its colour is black. i didnt realise i could post on here without buying my car, but as im buying tomorrow i thought i might aswell join up. i havent owned a toyota before just honda's. thinking about doing a complete re spray on the car before putting it on the road though. thanks
