Yeah there probably is a bit of spilt petrol in there. I glued it down using Sikalastomer 710. Once it goes off it is very similar to the original glue. It remains soft and sticky. We use it when fitting stainless steel deck fittings on yachts.

sorry dude that was a misspell. it definatley should not.
All good, I thought it was spelling😃
-
It should leak fumes? I wouldn't think it should leak fumes into the cabin.

Thanks guys. The original stuff still does stick but it's not the best seal. I'm getting petrol fumes in the cabin. I'm going to try to use sikalastimer.
Mine is a 1997, and it has a clip on the cover to hold the plug.

Hi guys, I've just replaced my fuel pump in my glanza and in wanting to re-glue the fuel pump cover down again.
The factory glue is soft and sticky and I'm after the same stuff to replace it with. I don't want to glue it down with a product that will make it to difficult to remove later.
Cheers.

Your car looks so good Stu!
I only just noticed the black bars going forward of your front struts. Did you make them, and where do they attach at the front?

Wow it's been along time since I updated this.
A new baby and house renovations has put my project on the backburner.
I still managed to get a few things done and I finally have a computer that works, so update time...
I got a Renault Safrane front splitter...
Fitted new brakes...
My gear boot was looking a little worse for wear...
...so I got one of the guys at work to make me up a new leather one...
I did a bit of cleaning
I fitted an HDi intercooler kit and HKS bov...
The engine bay needs attention...
I changed the turbo bonnet...
...to an s bonnet.

Your build is next level! Awesome work.

Hi, I'm interested in the oe Glanza v headlights listed on your website, is the price showen for both left and right headlights? Also do you ship to Auckland, New Zealand; and how much would postage be?
Thanks.

Nice build, quality images.

Looking good Stu. I wondered about those brake lines, I've seen them on Trade Me.
Who are you using for your cert? I was going to use N Fraser.

Your cars looking so good! Are they genuine work wheels? What size and offset are they? Also what tire size are you running? Is the car drivable yet?
-
Nice build, car looks a million times better at that ride height! Good choice of wheels too.
Did you fit a panhard rod when you installed the suspension?
-
Thanks glanzagee, I thought it would use the standard exhaust mount. Any ideas what the hose clamp would be used for?

Hi everyone, I just got a Blitz Nur Spec RX for my 1997 Glanza V.
My car currently has a standard exhaust except for an aftermarket muffler which is fitted like this...
...pretty dodgy. Anyway, the Nur Spec exhaust hangers have a square box shape on top...
...am I correct in assuming that it is designed to mount to the car using an original muffler mounting bush?
Also this is the hardware that came with the system...
...what would the hose clamp be used for?
Any help or pictures would be much appreciated
Thanks.

I got around to sanding and painting the bonnet scoop as had an ugly red and black crackled affect when I bought it.
Before:
Now:
I fitted a Cusco adjustable panhard rod, a Whiteline front sway bar with new droplinks and replaced worn bushes.
Bought some Toyo T1R's in 195x50 R15 and had them fitted. This is what it's looking like now.
My carpet was full of holes and dirt so I ripped it out along with the back seats as I plan to fit bucket seats.
Ordered a HKB boss kit from RHDJapan. I'm very happy with the service from these guys. The model of b osskit is OT48 if anyone was interested....
...and fitted a Nardi steering wheel....
...and a TRD gear knob.
Thanks for looking

thought's on speedvision hybrid ct9?

Good write up Stu, hopefully this helps with other people running into the same problems. Just a note, the turbo is a 3rd gen Speedvision. I've read that the earlier ones suffered from seals shitting themselves. Hopefully this issue has been rectified on the 3rd generation.
