  1. To anyone that can remember me from ages ago, I thought I'd come back and show you guys what I've been working on since christmas.

    I wanted something RWD and kind of retro so went and bought an E30.

    Here's some pics of when I bought it:

    I've changed a few things, the main being the seats to some newer M3 seats:

  2. does anyone know what type of performance figures teh yzf-r125 and the cbr 125 can achive, like top speed, 0-60?

    are they six or 7 speeds?

    really quite liking the look of these

    By law, a person with a CBT cannot ride a bike with more than 15PS (German horsepower). So most of the sporty 125s are very close to this figure.

    All of them can be de-restricted to about 20PS though.

    I think all are 6 speed.

    75-85 is a realistic top speed for them.

    Not sure on 0-60 though.

  3. It's not cheap! To do mine it cost me:

    CBT: £125

    3 day training course: £470 (including test fee)

    Then bike and gear:

    Bike: £850

    Insurance: £150

    Jacket: £160

    Trousers: £100

    Gloves: £40

    Boots £80

    Helmet: £120

    Total: £1245

    But, its fucking awesome!

    yea but how much is it to put yourself all the way through a bike test from cbt to full licence?

    It's down to the primer Alex. I'll be giving it a good polish tomorow and hopefully it will reduce it down a bit. I still think it will need something doing to it. I'm not worried about the bonnet too much as I'll be gett ing a C/F one.

  5. It's just a setup disk

    and on the only disks it full of loads of folders.

    I'm waiting to hear from the bloke I bought it off to get back in touh with me.

    So annoying, each time i add a cd in EPC, in the Japanese area (e.g. A1 CD ROM) it says insert correct cd.

  6. Might not be the headunit mate. If you reverse the polarity (swap "+" with "-") on one of the speakers it should sound better.

    Basically you want the speakers wires going to the same on both speakers. If not the speakers will cancel each other out and it'll sound flat.

  7. As said before, they're not the most impossible car to afford, so not exactly something to get jealous about.

    Besides my car, there was another car that got keyed too..... a wanked out paint faded old 106, and that really isn't a car to be jealous about.

    I know what you mean about the car, not hard to afford.

    On my lunch break I'm taking it to a place to geta quote, I'll let you know how badly my wallet will get hit.

  9. Last night when I got the girlfriends, I parked the car outside where I usually do and went inside.

    I was inside for about 40 mins and then went out get some milk and when I got the car I found that some pikey fuck had decided to modify my car.....with a key!

    I don't have pictures yet, but I'll get some up soon.

    It's been scratched on the drivers side, where the Glanza sticker would all on the rear quarter and also on the bonnet.

    I fucking hate pikeys.

  10. When my dad finished spraying his car, to get a nice shine he was told to:

    1: Rub lightly with 1500 wet and dry

    2: Rub again lightly with 2000 wet and dry

    3: T- cut

    4: G3

    5: Polish

    Takes a while, especially when you're doing a whole car, but it was definately worth it.

  11. hey mate i have a turbo 82 and got to tell ya could not live without the turbo so if your going to make the modds to do it, then i say do it sooooooooooooooo much fun to drive and they really are pocket rockets

    He's got a Glanza now mate.
