  1. Okay cool, did it fit okay after adjustment? And is the centre section mild steel? Any rust anywhere? Sorry for all the questions lol! I'm very interested
  2. Hey I can see you've cut the hangers off. Firstly, why and secondly what does it fit? Ep91?
  3. Bump
  4. Yeh the toyosports pipe is silly long, but it's a good starting point if you're not looking to spend too much
  5. Toyosports intercooler only requires a little cutting and is probably one of the cheapest out there! But I've heard very good things so have just fitted one myself
  6. Hey guys, I am in need of a cat back exhaust. I'm not overly fussed on brand but would like something relatively decent. I am based in Somerset but would be happy to pay postage if needed! Thanks in advance

    Heater matrix

I replaced my heater matrix on my glanza and the entire dash had to come out. Just take your time and remember the important bits! We taped the most important screws and bolts to paper and labelled them which helped a lot and also make sure the hoses are properly attached to the matrix before you put all the dash back. You will also have to get all of the air out of the cooling system when you've finished which is easy but can take ages lol. At least you can do yours in the summer though! We were stood out in rain and snow doing mine :/
  8. Thanks guys! Had a couple of viewings and have one tomorrow. Its my boyfriend's car as he is looking to get an S2000, but I told him to get a starlet haha ;)
  9. Thanks everyone! I think they were sparco ns2s but can't be sure on that! I just got fed up of cleaning them all of the time lol, plus they weren't in the best condition :/ I do love my rotas though, but I'm thinking of swapping them at some point
  10. Thank you you can also fit the Laguna splitter and they're cheap!
  11. The heater matrix came from Mike lol, he's a nice chap!
  12. Cheers guys! I'll take a look at that wiki, thanks for the recommendation! I was thinking of contacting tuning devlopments just to chat about stuff as I know theyre pretty good at glanza! the splitter was £18 and took about half an hour with axel stands and a drill haha, was good fun though! And made it look pretty nice
  13. Hello everyone, I just thought I'd share with you my progress so far on my little EP91. I am only modifying it for road use, so it's not much compared to everyone else's builds and I have just finished uni so I've had very little money. Plus I'm a girl who is learning about cars and mods with the help of my boyfriend and, of course, you guys! We have had a several problems with this car including the epic replacing of the heater matrix job, which we managed to fix by ourselves and are very proud of it! We have the DIY approach to car problems as you may be able to tell from my previous posts! My car has a funny front bumper which we think has been mixed with either a Scooby or Ford bumper to make the weird badge shape, hence the custom badge that I had made. Also, the bodywork isn't 100% but this should be sorted in good time. It's currently running standard boost with standard turbo, etc and the only real performance mod at the moment is the Toyosports FMIC. Nevertheless, here are some before and after photos of my starlet. Let me know what you think! This is the car as I bought it, with Sparco wheels which I have now replaced and BC coilovers which I have kept ;) : Rota Grids and Tegiwa wheel nuts with a bit of rake on the stance. Had the fogs tinted in blue by the amazing James Page at South West Tinting: The heater matrix saga (sorry about this bit haha) Accord Type R seats, installed by Jack Sargent at JDM Regiment: Before: After: Espace splitter Custom boot build OMP steering wheel with snap off boss Toyosports FMIC, installed by us, as well as number plate relocated. You can also see my custom badge lol Headlight restoration, again by James Page at Southwest Tinting And here she is now What do you reckon people?? Any recommendations/advice on cool mods we can do next?! I wouldn't mind a little more horsepower, but I'm worried about the safety of the engine!! With my FMIC, can anyone suggest any methods of upping the boost safely? I'm not after the maximum horsepower from this car, just something about 170-180bhp. I'm also planning on getting spacers rather than lowering the car more, any thoughts on this? Being a newbie and all, any ideas are welcome!! Thank you for looking
