  1. Hey guys, I am in need of a cat back exhaust. I'm not overly fussed on brand but would like something relatively decent. I am based in Somerset but would be happy to pay postage if needed!

    Thanks in advance :)

  2. I replaced my heater matrix on my glanza and the entire dash had to come out. Just take your time and remember the important bits! We taped the most important screws and bolts to paper and labelled them which helped a lot :) and also make sure the hoses are properly attached to the matrix before you put all the dash back. You will also have to get all of the air out of the cooling system when you've finished which is easy but can take ages lol. At least you can do yours in the summer though! We were stood out in rain and snow doing mine :/

  3. Cheers guys! I'll take a look at that wiki, thanks for the recommendation! :) I was thinking of contacting tuning devlopments just to chat about stuff as I know theyre pretty good at glanza! :) the splitter was £18 and took about half an hour with axel stands and a drill haha, was good fun though! And made it look pretty nice :)

  4. Hello everyone,

I just thought I'd share with you my progress so far on my little EP91. I am only modifying it for road use, so it's not much compared to everyone else's builds and I have just finished uni so I've had very little money. Plus I'm a girl who is learning about cars and mods with the help of my boyfriend and, of course, you guys!

We have had a several problems with this car including the epic replacing of the heater matrix job, which we managed to fix by ourselves and are very proud of it! We have the DIY approach to car problems as you may be able to tell from my previous posts! My car has a funny front bumper which we think has been mixed with either a Scooby or Ford bumper to make the weird badge shape, hence the custom badge that I had made. Also, the bodywork isn't 100% but this should be sorted in good time. It's currently running standard boost with standard turbo, etc and the only real performance mod at the moment is the Toyosports FMIC.

Nevertheless, here are some before and after photos of my starlet.

Let me know what you think! :)

This is the car as I bought it, with Sparco wheels which I have now replaced and BC coilovers which I have kept ;) :

What do you reckon people?? Any recommendations/advice on cool mods we can do next?! I wouldn't mind a little more horsepower, but I'm worried about the safety of the engine!! With my FMIC, can anyone suggest any methods of upping the boost safely? I'm not after the maximum horsepower from this car, just something about 170-180bhp. I'm also planning on getting spacers rather than lowering the car more, any thoughts on this? Being a newbie and all, any ideas are welcome!!

    Thank you for looking :D

  5. Year: 2005
Model: Honda Civic Type R (EP3)
    Tax: 30/09/2014
    MOT: 12/03/2015
    Mileage: Just over 83,000

    Description:
Here for sale is my beloved Honda Civic, this has been my "poster on the wall" car since I was young and I have had 2 years trouble free motoring out of her. Unfortunately I have grown bored of hot hatches after owning many different makes and models and after owning my Civic it is finally time to upgrade to the Honda S2000 as I think the Honda engines are just incredible.

My car has done just over 83,000 miles and looks great for it, the paint work is excellent apart from the front bumper is a little chipped (it happens to most Night Hawk Black Civic's). The car has full service history including a genuine Honda major service roughly half way though my ownership of the car, the next service is a little one and I am happy to put it in for the next genuine Honda service if the buyer pays the asking price.

All the usual Type R refinements, A/C, I have had the rear glass tinted in 33% film.

Any questions please feel free to ask as I am sure there is something you may want to know that I have not included.

No tyre kickers and no test drives unless you bring proof of insurance, I am happy to take you as far as you wish however.

    Price: £4,750 ONO

  6. Hello,

Does anyone have any mats for sale to fit an ep91? If not, can anyone recommend any decent mats for sale anywhere?

    Cheers guys :)

  7. Hello guys,

Me and my boyfriend have just finished installing a large front mount inter cooler to my car, it looks and fits great however after installing it the dump valve noise has changed. I used to have the classic HKS chirp after releasing the throttle but now I have some chatter also.

It now sounds like the compressor is surging which is bad for the turbo right? I have read in a couple of places that it may not be compressor surge and it could just be because there is a larger surface area being a larger (and longer route) intercooler that the dump valve is sucking air back in after dumping the pressure.

In short I am not complaining, I love the noise but I want to know if you think it is damaging the turbo? What do you think?
