Does anyone know how to change over the fascia . I have a mph just thought id ask before i go charging in

Has anyone fitted the mph fasci to a gt ? Do you need to fiddle about taking the speedo needle off or does the fascia fit over the top?

My first car was a gt .

Then i had a legacy twin turbo ,

Then a swift ;)

Then another gt (bottom end went after 3 months)

Then i bad a s60r (really nice motor)

And now I've got a fabia vrs but as soon as i can ill be getting rid of it for another gt

Just wondered if there were many people on here who run big power starlets as their dailys ?

Made me want a starlet again after seeing them fly around !

So .... Hvent posted anything in a while and in short thats because the starlet died . I was absolutly devastated . The car was coming along nicely ,i had organised for my mate to spray her all white , just had put the sound proofing in with the carpet and interior trim (was heavenly) and at the same time did a oil and filter change (2000ish since the last change when i bought it) and then the engine decided it didnt want to play any more . Completely gutted that id got my dream car and after three months it let go on me i decided to once again sell the starlet and try something different . So after all that i now own a very nice volvo s60r . Im sure ill be back at some point but just not anytime soon .

Would anyone have a idea what i could get for my starlet gt turbo . The bottom end bearing casing has cracked causing a nocking noise at sertain rpms and loads .the car has a stage two forge engine , tuning developments hybrid td04 , full decat ( blitz nur spec r) , emange blue and all the other sort of supporting mods you would expect (blitz duel sbc, front mount, clutch, injectors, half size rad ,tein coil overs ect) . I would break the car but i dont have the time space or tools to do it hence why i was seeing if anyone would want the car as a whole . The car still starts and runs but obviously its not healthy . Ill answer any wuestions if anyone is interested . Id also throw in the 2xblitz brw type 2's and the 2xssr mk1's . The body work isnt great (the black panels have been rattled canned byt the previous owner and is chipping off) no rust though (apart from a slight patch on the bonnet) and no leaks . The interiour is 85% complete as i was in the process of slowly putting it back together and has also been well sound proofed .

Does anyone know what these are / how much they're worth . They all are in good condition (no curbing ect ) just painted a horrible colour

How much would you take for the front rear bumper and then all the side panels +skirts?

Sorry to the guys who messaged me asking for a couple parts, but since i uploaded the picture this is the first time I've been home . I dont want any money i just want the bits gone . Haven't updated anything so far because i haven't actually done anything to the car really . Just been driving and enjoying ;) . Sorted a couple little issues so far though 1. Had the car raised and wheel alighned 2. Had the high idle sorted (no more 1800rpm tick over) 3. Had the stupid hid's removed because they were wank (probably would have been better off using my iphone tourch) 4. Removed the skirts and spats (now the thing looks even more like a shed as the underneath is still white :L) . Where i am at work i have no space tools and at the end of the day im no mechanic so most of this was done by mr kbond ???????? top guy and really has sorted us out . Apart from these few things like I've said i havent done much to the car , just been collecting parts . Got some new wheels (pictured just need a refurb) . Got a good 95% of the ready interior to go back in .

On a different note , i had my "first little play" with another car on the way home from picking up some car parts . I was just poodling along as i do and two chaps in a scooby wr1 rumble past laughing at my car (guess its because it looks like a shed) and then pull in front of me and slow down . So i pull out into the fast lane as they slowed down just too over take (being nieve i was like what is this turd doing) but then as i get beside him i see him pointing down the road and looking at me so im like ooop here we go . He pulled infront as i manage to press the break wih the clutch as i had boots on , but as soon i was on boost i was on his tail straight away (he'd pulled infront of me in the fast lane ) and i was like yeah i reeled him in but why does my car feel so slow all of a sudden -.- being a spoon id left it on low boost . So this next time i over took him and he pulled out behind me ;) but this time i turned the boost up . Lets just say he got quite small in my mirror . So after all this 70mph action was over i went back to my granny driving and he caught up to me and wound his window down , all him and his mate had to say was "what the hell is in that" ( rather suprised look on their faces) . So so glad to be back in a starlet !

No worries bud . I never had a issue with my ild gt that i had for about a year and 3 months and so far (touch wood) no dramours with this one . Any car can be shagged and a pile of poop , regardless if its 5 years old or 25

And yes with a boost controler you can change the peak boost the car will run . Mine has three settings .8 bar 1.1 bar and 1.4 although i just always leave it on 1.4

Just saying i get 40mpg out of my 300bhp gt on a run 👍🏼

Yeah shes actually a much better daily than my old gt which was stamdard . The bigger turbo means i can average better mpg when i want to . No lsd though does mean its pretty mad ;)

Fair one thats good to hear and id love to run mesh but dont want to bugger my turbo
