First off, Mikey is a really cool guy! Not long after posting that we chatted on the phone and discussed things in more detail. He totally understood where I wanted to go with the car which made things easier. His standard of work is like nothing else, out of all the jobs completed (tons and tons) not once was anything bodged or a corner cut. Every job no matter how menial was carried out to a very high standard. I think it says it all really when after meeting him I instantly left my car in his hands for two weeks, really trustworthy! Not really a fan of the original paintwork despite it being rare. Happy to keep it green

Little update, lots of little things sorted including getting electric windows working and replacing the worn front seats with some much better original items. Other than that I've been driving it and enjoying it!
