  1. well!

as some of you know my Toyosport Manifold (came from TM Developments, who said they've never had one crack) cracked after less then 2 weeks. and from then till now its been growing...

however last night it failed big style!

    DSCN1150.JPG

as you can see its failed in many places!

between 2 and 3 round to flange

    down middle of 3

between 1 and 4 near the flange

and the whole flange has cracked clean off the rest of the manifold...

So please people avoid these manifolds in my exprience there shit :/

Now im faced with the problem!!!! Zisco is shut for summer and i dont want to be without my car for all the shows!

I dont want to run the stock manifold....

So ive gone with a braced j performance one for now... i may end up going with a turbo conversion end of summer anyways :/

Luckily my turbo is braced by my blitz decat... or it cud hav damaged sumthing!

Ill keep you all posted, just waiting on my new manifold to arrive now :p

HOLY SH*T... this is stainless for you quite common with stainless manifolds, but i have to say i have never seen a stainless manifold fail like this one poor quality stainless... i feel for you mate. steam pipe for me all the way.

  2. that is a savage build i love the detail gone into everything the fuel work is unreal and the turbo is savage maybe a bit to big best of luck with it

The turbo will spool up quite nice and quick with all the head work that has been done to this bad boy, and to help it along i also have NOS.

  3. Hey chaps, little update... all oil hoses done. i did say little ;))

And the block was just not doable, price wise and time wise.

  6. Hey guys,

I'm going to purchase a set of Powerflex engine mount inserts but I have an optional LSD gearbox so the rear won't fit. Can anyone advise what to do with the rear mount, I was thinking of maybe using something to fill the gaps in with such as Sikkaflex but I'm guessing I would need something stronger than that.

    Cheers,

    Idrees

  12. here is my head, with my stainless valves and O'ringing.

    Picture023.jpg

    Picture024.jpg

The reason for O'ringing my head instead of my block is that my block is sleeved with chromoly sleeves, and because of the limited amount of room between the cilinders i could not fit O'rings around them, because it will push the top of the sleeve into the cilinder.

Here is my CNC port job (not verry good picture as i took it through the plastic).
