Getting rid of the Glanza. ~220k km on clock. OEM LSD box Meister R coilovers CT9 hybrid turbo built by Liam D TRD front arb Short route fmic Blitz 9mm HT leads Toyosports decat Speedvision manifold TD FPR Just had new discs, pads and bearings on the rear. Also had a front wheel bearing replaced. Bodywork is tatty imo. Front bumper needs a respray. Bonnet looks wank. Will go on black team dynamics 1.2 with a blue rim. Currently has oil leaking from the head between the 1st & 3rd manifold studs. I don't know where the leak actually is but because of the affected area, the car is smoking when revving above ~5k. It runs fine and there's no smoke when taking it easy. Just want it gone. Been offered £1,000 for it. Just want to see if I can get anymore for it as I have no idea what its worth. Just put 6 months tax on. MOT is up in October. Any offers?

Looking for a set of the brackets that screw into dash so I can actually mount a CD player. Just have a gaping hole there at the moment

Yeah, they do. Everytime I've sent something through paisley freight they have emailed me a tracking ref. Too much time has passed for me to claim back through paypal. Limit is like 45 days, something like that?

Told me he wasn't given one.

Yes, it would be the easiest way. The fact there is no number makes me think it hasn't been sent anyway. Everytime I have sent something through Paisley, the booking confirmation email has had a tracking reference. What depot are you referring to mate? If it has actually been sent then it could be at any number of sites. APC, DPD, City Link, Nightfreight, etc. Even in a random van drivers back garden for all I know. Without a consignment number of some sort I'd be pissing in the wind unfortunately. Doesn't matter if they sub the work out, they will still have some record of the consignment. Most unusual that they could tell me about a set of alloys I had delivered about 6 months ago (by a subbie) but not this. Nevermind. If, by some miracle, it is sat in someone's warehouse then it would have been so for some time now anyway. Dread to think what kind of condition it would be in

Been meaning to leave some feedback for this guy for ages now. Sent my ratty old CT9 off to Liam so he could work his magic and that he did! Outstanding customer service throughout, keeping me up to date with every step he was taking in building my hybrid. Collection and delivery was sorted by Liam so all I had to do was throw the turbo in a box. The turnaround time was rapid and the whole transaction was complete in a few days. The turbo itself came back to me better than new! Spools fast and seems to pull much longer through the rev range than it did previously, rather than running out of puff after a few seconds of having my foot down. Will update this post with power output when I eventually get the car dyno'd. Absolutely fantastic service and would recommend Liam_D to anyone! Thanks mate!

Update for anyone interested. Still no sign of the bonnet. Socks unable to provide a tracking number and Paisley Freight have no record of a delivery for my postcode.

I can second Redline 75w90. Gearbox is so much smoother since I dropped whatever rubbish the previous owner was using! And I think it takes ~2.8 litres?

I'm not worried about who is delivering it. I'd just like confirmation that it has been collected and they have attempted delivery. The paisley tracking number will give me an idea of what's occurring.

I'm at home all morning and then there is someone here in the afternoon. Also got a neighbour who grabs my deliveries if I'm not around. Can you give me the tracking reference please?

Who is the courier? They haven't carded or given me any indication of an attempted delivery.

Last thing I wanted to do was bring this up in a public post but I am out of options and just want it done with now. I paid for a bonnet from a Glanza that Socks was breaking in January. I have been more than patient as I understand he had an accident recently and is now having problems with his own Glanza. I also accept the fact that a bonnet is a bastard to have couriered. However, I paid good money for this bonnet+postage and believe that over 3 months is enough time to have this delivered to me. Recent contact with him, he told me that the bonnet had been collected by a courier mid-April. If that is true then it must have been lost in transit. He hasn't been able to tell me who he sent it through or give me any kind of tracking reference either. As far as I can tell, Paypal can't help me as too much time has passed since the transaction. So with that, and the amount of time passed, I can't see me ever actually receiving it. In all honesty I just want it done with now. Anyone I have told about it over the last couple months has said that I've been ripped off. I guess I just didn't want to believe it. I am well aware that Socks has a solid reputation and provides a quality service to many. I am genuinely puzzled as to how I have ended up in this situation. I fully understand that he is a busy guy, receiving numerous PMs everyday and that some will inevitably get missed. I am, in no way, a malicious character, I just feel that I am out of options so the only thing left to do is share feedback for my transaction and experience with Socks. Interested in whether I am the only one or not? Any advice on what to do would be appreciated too!

So block line to inlet and remove the pcv valve? Does it just pull out of the rocker cover? Il give this a go in the morning!

My Glanza is puffing out white/blue smoke when I go above 5k rpm. Recently changed turbo, compression test is good and tried some wynns stop smoke when I changed the oil. Oil is Fuchs pro Titan s 10w-40. There is no smoke on startup, it is only when revving above 5k. Any ideas? I'm not massively concerned as I drive it around like an old granny most of the time. Just a bit embarrassing when you floor it and it shits clouds. Apologies if this has been asked before!
