  1. I had a forged GT turbo on a CT20 was running 260 at 1. Bar was quicker than my friends td04 glanza.

    good bit of lag in the ct20 but a serious pull around 3krpm onwards.. i had a black 95 ct20 gt boosting .8 on a standard 4efte with 5efhe cams was as quick as if not quicker than my mates fully forged 4efte glanza boosting a bar on blitz hybrid ct9.. the glanza had blitz everything, fmic, ecu, boost contoller, boost guage, air filter, exhaust, decat, hybrid turbo, walbro pump bigger injectors, hks fuel rail braided lines, the lot, and the gt had a wepr ct20 kit, a fmic and a straight though and that was about it really :)

  2. cheers yeaah all i hear about is td04 so i want to go CT series instead.. TD is ment to be more reliable and i've heard CT20's are brilliant paper weights from bearings and seals going in them so thinking about CT26

    touché my friend :p but the ct20 is ment to be the worst of the lot :p

  4. well lads.. havnt updated this in ages... well spose that could be because i tried to lose interest for a bit



    but anyway... collected this earlier in the week :)


    5efe :) now to start saving for a forged rebuild..



    collected a few small bits here and there, sard fpr, greddy type S bov and a few bits



    what turbo should i run? anything but TD series just because everyone over here is running td04s and td05s so would rather run my ct20 or ct26 but debating going VF

  5. well lads, i'm new on here, i've owned this GT nearly 2 years now and unfortuntively been having nothing but bad look with it but i'll get the better of it eventually..



    at the minute it is engine-less as it spun a big end bearing for the second time and i've tried to just forget about it for a while before i go mad :p



    last spec was:



    TOM's ecu,


    standard 4efte,


    CT09b from an ep91,


    WEPR s/s manifold,


    external wastegate + screamer pipe,


    WEPR s/s decat,


    japspeed s/s cat back,


    turbosmart boostee boost controller (bleed valve),


    japspeed FMIC,


    leads from CJ performace,


    apexi turbo timer,


    apexi RSM black,


    tein coilovers,


    oem rear strut brace,


    sparco NS2 alloys 14"


    oil catch can



    as far as i can remember that was pretty much it..



    currently i'm saving up for a full rebuild, plans are:



    wossner forged pistons 74mm


    scat forged conrods,


    5efhe cams maybe or some sort of cams,


    ARP head bolts,


    ACL bearings,


    slightly thicker head gasket,


    TD04 turbo kit,


    Greddy e manage or some type of mappable ECU


    blitz IBC,


    fidanza lightweight flywheel,


    exedy stage 2,


    oem LSD box,


    Levin BZG brake conversion,


    oil cooler+ oil temp and oil pressure guages,


    full respray in original 040,


    TOM's spoiler,


    rota fighter wheels
