relax mate, paint job isnt an issue unless you want a little show queen. but if the car has mad parts and big power then it can still be a show stopper in its own right even with a crap paint job. gonna paint mine next year with foam rollers (like you use for arts and crafts) and im not even joking. rather have it looking insane and stand out than pristine paint and boring. keep at it!

and as for people abusing your car, who cares? theyve probably got some boring 1.6 mk4 golf on gaySDM's and air ride. and a couple years from now they'll have maybe upgraded to a audi a4 but it'll still be boring as hell and your little beast will have some mad engine and be a track weapon. and its something you can be proud of and say 'I built that' as opposed to their imagination-less car that someone else did all the work on that they only have to please somebody else for fear of being different. mines fucking pink, rusty and covered in dents, i get a fair amount of abuse. just man up and tell them to fuck off

would love to see yours become one of the maddests starlets around and for it to happen ya cant give up on it.

yeah I was wondering the same I dunno if my shocks are brilliant though maybe the reason mine sits lower if I was to go upgrading it would be coilovers only job for a starlet

hmm probably is the case! Yeah definitely man, actually kind of regret spending £150 on springs, should have just saved up for a bit longer and got 2nd hand coilovers, so much more reliable!

Thanks! Yeah i was surprised actually how much arch gap there was left, its nothing crazy but theres still a bit! The old shocks are about too go so I don't know if that would effect it or not, think I might splash out on coilies soon though!

Hey guys been a while since I've updated! I've just been enjoying the car mainly Had it lowered on some tein springs 57mm on the front and 50mm on the rear. Finally got a proper sized jap plate on the front (12x6) and some UKSO decals. Think I'm going too move onto engine mods now, corolla mani, induction kit, full exhaust system and just an all round tidy up of the engine bay. Pretty happy with the exterior so far but i'm having new ideas everyday! Let me know what you guys think!

Also finally got my SLR camera back from a friend so i'll be able too get some more atmospheric exciting shots!

Hey guys just ordered some Tein lowering springs for my EP91. I'm going to go ahead and buy new shocks all round but not a clue which ones to get or where too start? any links too ones that would do would be perfect! Thanks in advance guys

Firstly, a full service...

Tubular intake manifold, gen 1 injectors and fpr, exhaust system. get it mapped on emanage..

You can change cams and springs but i think you might need to raise rpm limit to make use of the powerband if you went with the available 4efte cams. (not sure)

Or you could bolt on a turbo and get it mapped on an emanage ;)

Staying n/a you wont make more than 100-110 bhp unless you swap upto a 5efhe.

Last but not least i think Chris Green makes ITB kits for 4e/5e's

Hey guys need some advice on some power upgrades on my N/A Starlet. Thinking about getting a new mani, straight through exhaust system, and intake upgrades? Where do I even start with this as I'm no where near a mechanic haha. I've heard corolla manifolds are quite common? Any advice would be great

id say de-black the rear lights, and get some glanza ones without the reverse light part on and get top and bottom sidelights

like this but with pre facelift glanza rear lights

Yeah still not sure about the rear lights. I think glanza ones would look sweet just need to try and justify how much money ive spent on this already haha!
