  2. Yes, Republic of Ireland. I read your add fully (as I should have done before hand) I see they are used but mint. if you can give me a total cost posted I will pay via PayPal. Regards
  3. Hi, Are these used or new? still available? and could you post to Ireland?? regards
  4. I was in Barbados and the sunshine helped with making the cars look good. Most of the cars there were old British classics, Triumphs, MG's, Bentley, Austin etc, etc but there is a very healthy young Jap scene throughout the Caribbean, especially Dominican Republic for some reason.
  5. I had the idea of building an SR rep as they are much more rare over here while still looking cool, especially with the SR stickers. They are toned down somewhat in the styling which I think will distinguish it well. However himself has seen a red Glanza on Google images - I think it was for sale on here last year - its shiny red with carbon lips / splitters and a carbon rear scoop. Anyway this is exactly what he wants so we came to a compromise. Glanza rep, with a FTO interior wrapped in Matte Grey and Rota grids, we have a lot of parts but still need a heap more. Rear beam with discs and callipers Suspension - prob just go with the springs as the full damper / spring combos for these are way too expensive door control module - so the CL & EW work Exhaust Dash dials Optional Lips / Splitters Wheels Alarm & Wireless (although I still have a heap of "old skool" subs, amps, capacitors, components from previous cars) I hope to get a bit more done this weekend, weather permitting, I'm to old to work in the cold for fun these days - and besides we still have 18 months before he gets a licence. Thanks for the comments people. Regards
  6. While working away I saw a local advert for a vintage revival so I took a spin over to check it out. Some related highlights were the 4AGE fitted to a Dihatsu (I think), a corolla coupe (I think), a mint MR2 and the rarest of rare, a Honda S800 roadster.
  7. Ok so I have finally arrived back home after a long work trip and sussed out how to upload photos so here's our blog. Standard.
  8. Shame, I was just about to book my flights to New Yourk? and then take Deborah to Vegas for the weekend before marrying her on Monday, I was paying to bring her and all her family to live with me in Europe, where I was sure we would have lived happily ever after.
  9. Welcome, I was working in Indonesia during September last year on the island of New Guinea - interesting and beautiful country to say the least. Welcome along
  10. Welcome. I have done the same as there is a wealth of info with the various members on here and every one seems friendly enough. Cool site, you will enjoy it. Good luck with the build.
  11. Welcome:) Am newbie myself
  12. Thank you all for your warm welcomes & Comments. I will be sure to post some pictures up when I get back home as I am working away for the next 2 to 3 weeks. My son and I are excited about our little project and equally look forward to being a part and hopefully contributing to this forum. Thank you all again & wishing you a Happy & prosperous new year. Regards
  13. Hello all, Just thought we would introduce ourselves. My wife and I bought my 15 year old son a 1.3 Starlet for his birthday back in August as a working project over the next year or two until he gets his licence. We are English but have lived in Wexford, Ireland for the last 8 years and we all love the place. The car is a perfect little 98 AO1 silver/grey blank canvas with less than 70K miles and we have already started working on it since XMas. He got a full Glanza body kit, electric door internals and an interior from a Mitsubishi FTO from Santa - it should keep us going for a while since i spend a lot of time working away and i have even put my own project classic mini on hold to help him out. Since i have been a fast Ford man myself for the last 25 years we will be trawling through the technical tutorials on here in order to build him his ideal first car. work done so far; Full service and Cam Belt change Passenger FTO seat fitted Front wings - filled and painted side repeaters Sanded and primed body kit Glanza tailgate fitted, also rewired reverse and third brake lights Retro fitted door internals, Central locking and electric windows (not working yet -need to fit door control module) that's about it for the time being. work needed for completion; Fit the rest of the interior Fit body kit window deflectors and tints wire front fog lights Glanza dials ICE & Alarm with global closing and remote locking De-lock and fill doors Rear beam with disc conversion and lowered suspension then wrap the whole car in matte gun metal vinyl with bronze Rota grids to finish then when he has a year or two NCB we will look to fit a 20v 4age with 6 speed from a Levin or similar Hopefully between this project and school it should keep him out of trouble on the streets. Regards to all, Michael & Joe
