Yeah bud there was a slight knocking on the bottom end discovered at mapping before dyno and luckily it was just a set of shells so got fixed in time

Hi guys haven't posted for a while Having replaced the engine I took it for mapping and found a slight knocking so didn't make the dyno after fixing the problem I finally got it mapped and gave me a nice 220bhp at .9 bar of boost could have gone more but decided not to Also brought a few extra bits such as an arm rest and a three point rear strut brace Also have a fuse box cover a cooling panel and a couple of other bits but undecided on a few

I totally understand your point mate but the car is on a sorn so how could I have run it around and broke it? Also like I've said it was good of socks to partially refund me however I feel if I sold something and it turned out to be fault then I would do my best to resolve it I would like to add that socks and the team that run the forum do a great job and therefore I understand how busy Matt must be Also it has now been resolved so it's sorted

Socks has refunded me the full cost of the shells which is what I was asking and this has sorted it Thankyou Matt for sorting this it really is much appreciated and I would like to say that Matt is a great bloke to deal with so don't be out off because he has sorted this very quickly Thanks again much appreciated

That is very true mate however I didn't have the money to go and get it rebuilt otherwise I would have done that to the damage engine I had in the first place and plus I didn't think something like this would happen but that is also my point about second hand engines

Thankyou and this is exactly what happened and I was lucky that it was caught early and yeah it's not expensive but when with parts and time taken to fix it, it all adds up

Here you go mate you can see in picture one mainly on the right shell that there is slight scoring/wear as the copper is showing Picture 2 shows 2 shells that aren't damaged Picture 3 shows both shells are fucked Thanks
