  1. I realise distance could be an issue so i am willing to drive to nearest airport either inverness or Aberdeen if its easier. Or can drive half way ect as long as deposit and fuel is paid for. 😊
  2. Yeah im not sure either. I think its reasonalby priced. Some people just want it for nothing though! Yeah i thought by the time i get throttle bodies and management and the 1.6 16v engine it would be about 2500 to get roughly 165bhp n/a If i put that money towards the 4efte engine then i think it would be a pretty quick nova! And i could split the rest of the glanza for other little bits just to get the nova finished. Not 100% decided on the turbo nova but it was just an idea i had.
  3. Yeah the glanza is decent but i just thought to put the 4efte into the nova would be decent. 2.0 novas are far to front end heavy thats why i want a smaller engine like the 1.4/1.6 16v as these are small blocks. Just thought the 4efte would be light and produce decent power. Plus i have never seen a 4efte nova been done. If i could get an engine for the nova then that would solve the problem but i cant find one anywhere. It looks like i will have to break the glanza and after all the time and money i have spent on the engine i dont really want to sell it. Just thought it would of been
  4. Hello, Seems like the glanza isnt going to sell so was toying of the idea of breaking it and putting the engine into my nova for hill climbs and sprints. Been on the lookout for a good 1.6 engine to put throttle bodies onto to drop in it but cant seem to get any close enough to me so thought of putting the 4efte on a td04. Would be abit different. I realise i would need to make up mounts ect. As far as electrical is concerned can i just transplant the entire loom into the nova? Thanks James
  5. Not too sure what a shell is worth. So open to offers on it. Would you just be wanting the shell completely stripped or with other parts? Rolling or not rolling? Thanks
  6. Unfortunately still for sale. Thought this was quite cheap for a glanza but clearly not cheap enough. £2100 final reduced price. If this does not sell i will break it to recover my costs. So if anyone is needing the shell let me know because if the shell sells i will break. Thanks
  7. New turbo fitted. Now runs great! While the turbo was off i removed the sump and resealed as it had a slight sweat. Did an oil and filter change and replaced coolant. Also fitted a polybushed rear mount that i bought ages ago but never had time to fit. Fully undersealed. really need this gone asap! Ideally wanting 2350 but open to sensible offers for a quick sale. Only faults are reverse lights not working. Wired it up but must be the bulbs or a fuse. Horn not wired up. Apart from that a good glanza! Thanks
  8. Still waiting on turbo. And im currently offshore so hopefully once im home it will be there. Will fit the turbo Complete service and change antifreeze. Will wire up the horn and reverse lights. As for the idle being irratic, once i removed the turbo i found the weld on the wastegate penny seperated letting the wastegate flap on its own. So this car will be sorted and fingers crossed all faults rectified 😊 If you want more info just pm me 😊 Thanks James
  9. I have a turbo on its way. So will fit the turbo and fix the little issues with it and have it back up for sale hopefully next week. Thanks
