Right time for a pic of the New motor for you!. Its a Golf mk4 GTI, remapped to 230bhp, Found the dyno print out the other day. Im chaging the Mirrors back to \'normal black\' And changing the wheels to these.. Going for 8.5 inch on fronts and 10 inch rears

These things happen. It hasnt bothered me that much..its part of owning a modified car... Tempting though as we have 2 spare mr2 turbo engines at the garage..and my dad has both a hayabusa engine and a zx14r engine...either 1.3 or can bore the zx to a 1.6 and supercharge both.. hmmm

Well Today was the fatefull day. I came back from 2 weeks away in the usa.. got the car out. checked Oil, and coolant levels, let her warm up..took it easy for half hour or so, faint noise appeared so i stopped, checked everything again.. Started her up...fine..Oil light flickered when i got to some lights and then it just died. Got it started again and there is a god awful noise. Well got it in the garage and in the air and i can confirm that its 3rd cylinder related. Think it was oil pump failure resulting in doing a bearing.. So on a side note, if anyone has a set of forged pistons and rods, or a standard 4efte engine give me a shout. Sad day!

In my first car i got pulled about a week after i passed, then another time, after me and my mate had been out shooting with the air rifles... in the old v..got caught for absolutly booting it down a straight national speed limit road..got off...for supposedly being on the phone.. In the new v...got stopped for doing a supposed 80 in a 40... a 40 that is straight after a national speed limit road, and nothing around for miles...again they let me off...got stopped for the numberplate a couple of times, let me go.. i have no points..and have never got any fines.....touch wood

Hmm If i did the conversion id use one of the 4wd starlets you can buy, and then use all of my bodypanels so it would look exactly like my glanza now. the kit car isnt practical...but i want it!!

ah but the glanza would have to go!. he wants 8 grand for it, so would have to sell the glanza, and have a runaround

Yo! Right as many of you know i had the glanza up for sale. well im going to keep it until june now. But this is where it gets interesting. I had a ride in a mates gt that was forged last nite, and it was mental. i wanted it. So i have a couple of choices.. Do i. A) Keep the glanza, forge it, sell it in june. B ) Keep the glanza, Buy 4wd starlet, Make 4wd Glanza Forged. C) leave the glanza how it is, and buy my friends 450kg kit car, with an rx7 engine, caterham style. all made by him. D) keep glanza how it is and buy something like an s2k or a 350z in june
