I understand what your saying, all car culture gets a divide between people with different tastes. For me though I was using this forum as a source of information for a jap shitter that I've never owned before. Surely it's better to keep another one on the road rather than just be crushed? or is that just my opinion because I have a shitter I'm not willing to spend loads on

This is my 72 Morris mini. Nearly 100bhp mg metro engine,gaz dampers, coil spring conversion, poly bushed. Many New panels, disc brakes, height adjustable, adjustable camber and much more This one also had a 3 page feature in mini mag before it was finished

That Mini got too uneconomic to repair the shell. Cut out the rust and welded what was left

Topgear track day

Went on a little holiday, 1St day was a few laps at Silverstone 3 days at the nurburgring including mini only track time. Last day was at spa

I've got a classic mini that I've spent a few grand on, thought the whole mini scene is petty at times. I've upset plenty of people there with my cars too. Thought this might have been different but seems just the same. Thanks for the nice/encouraging comments from some of you

Thanks. Think I still have some NATO green left over from my classic mini. Didn't realise that just having a laugh with a scrapper could cause a fuss. The starlet keeps the mileage down on my fully restored 72 mini and is something I don't mind leaving alone in a work carpark all day

Well for anyone still looking after they seen the pics. It's was bought for £150. Had 7 months tax so I was going to cash that in and either scrap it, or break it for parts. Realised its actually a good car so lot's it and have used it as a daily driver ever since.

Got bored yesterday so had a play with some chalk. Fancy something like that sprayed on the bonnet, what do you think so far? Just want some new seats and a decent steering wheel now. Found a scorpion bike exhaust too. Wonder what I could do with that?

Bought a faded and dented sportif for £150. Was taxed but nearly out of mot. Didn't take much to pass. That was about 18 months ago. No pics from the 1st few months

I can't find a scrap yard in a 30 mile radius of me that has any starlets. Has anyone ever made a list of parts from other models, manufacturers that can be used? Mainly interested in parts for a 91na Thanks
