  1. I've had a misfire for quite some time now, started off by replacing the Magnecor HT leads, sorted it for a few days. Replaced the dizzy cap and rotor arm, again, sorted it for a few days and it came back. I'm going for a new set of plugs today just to rule that out (NGK Iridium heat range 7). Some people have said it could be hitting fuel cut. I know it's not the best idea but I've got a HKS FCD. It's still running ct9, roughly 0.94bar of boost. FMIC, HKS mushroom filter, relocated to the front, stainless exhaust system decat, stainless manifold, FPR, it seems too high but the fuel pressure is at 4bar, it has been since I got the car 7 months ago and it's been fine up until a few months ago when the misfire started. I've got a reconditioned 4efte with just over 70,000 miles on it. Sometimes it boosts perfectly without misfiring and other times it misses like mad! I've described it best I could and listed all the mods I can remember to help you guys figure out what's causing it.

    Cheers!

  2. Hey guys, was out a drive there and when I downshifted I noticed the revs didn't go down below 2krpm when I dipped the clutch. I thought the pedal may have been jammed but I pulled it back with my foot and it was still doing it, so I dipped the clutch again and revved and it went straight down to about 800. Done it a few times today. Any ideas?

  3. Thanks for the replies. My mechanic just told me it's not sparking when it's cold, it takes a few turns and eventually it starts as if nothing is wrong lol. It also sounds to me like a bad earth, I will try and jump start it tomorrow and if it goes straight away then I know it's an earth. Thanks again.

  4. How's it going guys. I just got a new engine put in, and when I try to start the car it doesn't want to, and sounds like the battery is completely dead, then all of a sudden it'll start. When it's heated up and you kill the engine and start it again it's fine. I can rule out alternator, starter motor, leads and coil pack.

    Cheers!

  5. Hi guys, I unfortunately blew my engine over the weekend. At my local scrapyard there is an N/A Glanza S and the engine is perfect, cheap as chips too, I was wondering if I could just take that and add all my extras, turbo, manifold, FMIC etc. Also does the block have a turbo oil feed pipe?

  6. Thanks guys, it's not me who's doing it, it's a mechanic in my street. I thought I snapped my timing belt but it was just the tensioner bolt (luckily!). I'm not sure exactly what it is the mechanic is doing but he's been snapping drill bits trying to do it lol.

  7. I bought a Glanza a couple of weeks ago and I have just finished working on the things it needed. I got an MOT today and it passed, I then went to my local post office and tried to tax it, only to find out I couldn't, and the woman behind the counter dind't know why. So I tried to tax it online and found out that previous owner didn't SORN the vehicle, how the hell am I supposed to tax it?

    Cheers
