Recently had the exact same problem mate, But at 120mph.... Rod spun a shell and basically blew the bottom end bearing to bits... Gutting :-(

Hi guys! Recently bought a 1996 Glanza V with a fully forged engine, I was driving it for about 4 days when the engine went bang!:-( Turns out the bottom end bears gone, Took the crank with it and what's left of the shells has being sucked up into the oil lines basically making it a ticking time bomb. I've dropped it off in our local garage (sheffield subaru services) for a rebuild, But I am also considering putting in a new engine to save time and money, Has anyone got an engine for sale? 4efte? Or does anyone know of any engine specialists within South Yorkshire that would sell me a reconditioned engine? I've Litterelly owned the car for 3 weeks and only being able to drive it for 4 of those days, Genuinley gutted so anyone out there with an engine please get intouch, Stuck in a rut big time here and I need help from the Ukstarletowners members to Litterelly just offer me anything you've got, Fast responses will be apprieciated, Thankyou so much guys!
