  1. Thanks guys. I took the thermostat out like 2 years ago. But i think i've found the problem, as all you guys said it's the head gasket. :cray: The radiator bubbles while the car idles, the exhaust smells like coolant and it still over heats. It stressing me out atm so i think i'll park up the car for a couple months and just build a forged 5e. It was inevitable.

  2. I don't know if the head gasket is damaged but i found what causes the car to over heat. The rad fan fuse was melted so the fan was continuously cutting on and off while driving. As for the head gasket, shouldn't the lose power if its leaking because the pulls fine

  3. Car overheated yesterday and now the radiator started pushing water into the overflow bottle. Today i changed the radiator cap, fan, flushed the system and put new coolant but it still pushes the water out but it's not overheating. Why is it pushing the water out?

  4. Cables from a regular starlet work on the Glanza and vice versa but can't advise on EP82 fitment or other cars. I was having issues with gear selection when my cable stretched, I lost reverse and struggled to get it in other gears

Well i'm still having this problem as I can't seem to find cables for my car. To get it in reverse it's a bit stiff and the first to second selection is very annoying now. Does anyone has the part number for the cables so I can try at the toyota dealership?

  5. Well i've had my car quite a while now and i had this problem since i bought it. While shifting from first to second it feels it feel like something stops it before going in to second. all the other gears shift great. I recently rebuilt my gearbox, installed new clutch ad pressure plate, solid shifter bushes and installed a short throw shift kit. The only i didn't change is cables so i'm guessing that my problem. EP82/EP91 cables are nowhere to be found in my country. Does anyone know if the cables from another works???

I have alot on my to do list like coilovers, rollcage, poly bushes amd some exterior mods. Wanna put a front lip on her but dunno which one to go with. Also the needs a paint job some time this year, new tail lights, a new front bumper with fogs. The wiring in the engine bay needs neatening up which i might do hopefully when i buy some sort of aftermarket management. The car needs alot of work but it's coming along slowly. Body parts are a bitch to find especially aftermarket bits. The first set of pics i posted was before I installed the new turbo and minor stuff so I'll try to post some new pictures soon. :D

  7. So I've had an EP82 for a couple years now and recently join the site. Finally got around to uploading some pics.

This is what the car looked like when i now bought it. Sorry about picture quality.

Will be doing some changes soon.

  8. he can get an exedy down here he just has to accept that its gona cost him a lot of money

i found a guy who supplies spec so I think i'm gonna buy dat.

How many miles are you doing to go through 3 act paddle clutches?

I think its about close to a hundred thou km in 2 and a half years

  9. How the he'll have you done 2 clutches! I've a spec paddle clutch and the bite is strong and very firm, pulls very positive. Have you considered blitz active?

like i said the car is daily to work and school all day. Alot of traffic in trinidad. Blitz active is kinda out the question because nobody supplies it and to ship it myself it will cost 3 times the amount as the act.
