remove the helper springs

out already, might just cut the springs

put my new coilovers in there 3 weeks ago and are happy with them but would like them to go lower on the rear. my plan is to raise the rear shock top/tower but dont want to mess with the car until im fully sure it will work. has anyone ever done this or ever hear or it being done? the coilovers are out of mk3/mk1 vw golf by the way. help advice much appreicated
