After doing all the leads and dizzy freshen up its just alot smoother ive seen the quality before on their coolant block kits for rwd set ups their machining is very good Ill look into cams a lil later was just worried about how it drives down low mostly as it's my daily drive to work and back is roughly 60 something kms With speed cameras down most of the roads I use Was originally thinking of leaving the engine internals factory but I'm not getting rid of the car anytime soon
-
You really should ill post pics of the old cap and button Trumpets are on the list next spoke to sq again after you asked about the restriction on the trumpets in the plenum morgey They tell me they have tested the sh$t out of them and haven't found any so I'm gonna give them a go How's your driveability with those cams?? What's the degrees? Did you retain vvt? I seem they are tomei Pom cams I think? And no problems with the factory ecu? I'd read through your build but it's massive

Delivery for today New genuine toyota : Oil filler cap Valve cover gasket Distributor cap Distributor button And had top gun leads made up with dual spiral core rated upwards of 315 degrees Celsius With the same performance as 9mm or 10mm thick leads that fit in factory holders Next up is tomei fuel pressure regulator (when it finally arrives apparently australia post lost it ....... Yeah) And only a couple more weeks till coilovers get ordered
-
So roughly 120hp at the wheels with factory ecu and factory trumpets
-
New shoes! In desperate need of coilovers to drop it some more and cause my front shocks are near dead Found some interesting info on adjusting the fuel pressure from 40psi up to 44psi for some more low to mid range acceleration so gonna give it a go and see what happens
-
Haha he didn't bother checking the compliance plate that would tell him if the car was made with head rest WA cops sound just as retarded and nsw police
-
Thanks They are good and genuine but not wide enough ill be keeping them for street wheels for sure
-
Me and a friend went halves in this 180sx about a year ago Sr20det Gt2871r Bride seats R33 brakes all round and lots of other awesome mods.....anyway he did 12.8 second 1/4 mile while I was on holidays with a rich tune and some cheap shit tyres with better tyres should run flat 12s if not lower very happy with such a cheap investment (bought the car at a rediculous low price) it also does some very respectable lap times on street tyres next up is semi slicks
-
That's just from your local weigh station? I'm stripping my rear interior out once I get my new front seats so last time it was weighed when I was engineered it was 900kg will be Interesting to see what I weighs with all no essentials taken out
-
Yep some company I got my set up They were good to deal with and had it to me in 2 days might take a bit longer for you to get it though
-
. Kings cross actually there's a fair few getting around now Yeah I paid 100 bucks all up for my set up
-
http://s-86.com/velocity_stacks.php It's an extra $10 aud to machine number 1 to fit and flow
-

I'm in sydney your in wa right? wouldn't the shipping plus a new core out weigh the price of a new one? There's a mob in sydney called suzitech they do absolutely everything to do with modding swift gtis they no doubt will have a alloy one they'd ship to you under the price of fixing my old one?!
-
Number one comes slightly modified you just tell them if your running them in the chamber and they put that into the process when making them ill post up there website so you can have a look
-
Saving up for a set of these bad boys to fit inside the plenum chamber Sq engineering in Victoria Australia make them and claim they out flow toda and imec trumpets and add 7-9kw at the wheels across the rev range from 3200 rpm onwards
-
Should use a shroud or the only part of the radiator getting cooled by the fan is the part the fan is mounted too So instead of 100% of the core being cooled your only cooling 60-50%
-
Wow! That's alot of weight Did u remove the heater matrix or anything behind the dash?
-
Hay as far as i know it is a civic radiator not sure what engine or chassis it's from possibly ek I could sell it to you but the core is not in good shape The alloy rad I have in there now was $100 from eBay rad,fan and alloy shroud no use of a rad without a shroud!
-
Pic of the back of the a/c bracket and tensioner set up
-
Removed the air conditioning but wanted to retain the power steering so had to change the flat tensioner for a ribbed pulley and run the belt under it Then had to make the tensioner pull down not up Put a nut and spring washer on either side of the bracket The top nut is to lock it and bottom nut showed in the photo is to tighten the belt as well as the original adjuster bolt Blitz reservoir socks
-
that cooling panel is porn! Is that from I'd workz? Again lack of parts for starlets in aus
-
Next up is Recaros door inserts and strip out the rear interior Trying to find a renault Laguna splitter (extremely hard in aus) Coilovers Front door speaker pods 15x7s Hopefully soon
