  1. I'm a fan of deep dish wheels, Don't like following everyone else by putting on Rota's or other typical JDM type rims. Like to be unique not a clone.
  2. Oil is a personal choice discussion as many people use so many different types and some people complain that certain types don't work, so really down to personal choice. Personally i use Shell Helix 10-40 semi synth due to the fact of the age of the engine, it wasn't designed to run on fully synth and when i'm doing track racing or going to be thrashing the engine i'll use 10-50. 4 Litres should be enough as it could be anywhere between 3 litres to 4 litres during a change.
  3. I personally use a 10-40 semi synthetic oil and change it every 2000-3000 mile as normal.
  4. Had a quick look about and i found these 2 diagrams, not sure how much they help but might give you an idea or solve something.
  5. If it was me i would just mask it off, saves dismantling it incase you break it or can't get it back on and scratch the fresh paint where if you masked it off it's just a peel off tape job.
  6. Just thinking, how long would it take the local chav to notice that it was a fake roof when trying to break into the car.
  7. Yeah you will, send you a PM tellin you how and why. Since it's really not for discussion on this forum.
  8. They should be there, i added 2 at the bottom after i found a few i never uploaded.

  10. My ep82 came from japan as a 5EFTE build, lots of torque from the longer stroke and very good fun, can say don't bother running a CT9 with it mine lasted 2 month after i got the car. Your right in saying you'll need - 5efe block 4efte cylinder head and 4efte pistons better to get performance forged 4efte pistons, turbo (obviously lol) turbo exhaust mani. You will also need to replace your clutch as the bolt pattern won't be correct for a 4EFTE clutch the one thats on mine is an EL45.55 clutch, i'm sure one of the techy heads off the forum will be able to tell you what car it's from, not 100% sure but think you will also need the 4EFTE ecu also and you'll need a 4EFTE sump for the oil pickup.
  11. I agree with you mate, I've been on the forum for over 3 years now and helped out a lot of people and i used to enjoy the banter and in depth discussions that used to be held on subject but it slowly took a dip for the worst with pointless spam and crap on the forums and then it seemed to turn into over moderation and i've witnessed myself a few mods being heavy handed and firing off comments that would be classed as bullying in a outside enviroment all because they got a little bit of power they go in heavy handed. I even got threatened and some cheeky replies from mods so i limited myself to posting on the forum as i wasn't putting up with the crap. Reporting the behaviour was never any good as 9 times out of 10 they picked it up before others and fired a good comment back at you. I reckon i'll be like the rest, hold out a bit on the payment to actually see how this all works out and if attitudes change as i'd love to see the forum go back to the old ways of good discussions and everyone getting on. I'm not willing to pay a yearly fee then find out a day or so later the mods attitudes are still there and people are still snapping at each other for no reason and insulting people. I can see how the forum has went paid membership due to the running costs but it comes into very dodgy water as since someone is taking money, people are within their rights to ask for upto date accounts of how the money is been used and what has been took so people know whats happening, it's sort of like a business now where one person is getting paid which allows you to post and be part of the forum so there providing a service, would be interesting to know how the law goes on this. I fell asleep during this lecture so don't know a whole lot about it. Edit - Until I can see it getting better and worth paying the fee, i reckon i'll stick about here and on the old forum.
